Using AI Plaza Workbench
Open Translate, Docs, Sheet, Slide, Media, Assistant, Code, or Deepthink beside Chat. See what each Workbench produces and how to review its results.

Quick steps
Step 1. Open Workbench
In Chat, open the Workbench menu next to the composer and choose a tool. Task samples only fill an unsent draft.
Step 2. Pick a tool for the job
Choose from the eight Workbench tools below. Review the description to see what each one produces.
Step 3. Take the result forward
Copy, Insert into chat, Open in Slide, or Accept pending edits — keep the output without re-pasting across apps.
Using AI Plaza Workbench
Workbench opens a specialized panel beside chat so you can finish office work without juggling extra apps. It is not the same as scenario Tools or My tools.

Choose a Workbench

Slide starts with your materials. Choose Generate to create a presentation draft you can review; later AI revisions wait for your acceptance.
Guests landing on those links see a preview of the named tool. Sign in to run or save Workbench. Ordinary Try in Chat and Tools templates stay Guest Auto Low Chat.
How to open a tool
- Go to Chat.
- Open the Workbench menu on the composer and choose a tool. Empty Chat task samples only fill a draft; they do not open or run Workbench.
- Work in the right-hand panel while you keep chatting.
Take results forward
Depending on the tool you will see Copy, Insert into chat, Open in Slide, or Accept for pending edits. That is how Workbench saves time: the output stays in a panel you can keep using.
Edit assistance (not a separate tool)
When Slide, Code, or Sheet is open, chat can read the panel and propose edits. Changes stay pending until you Accept (or enable Auto-apply). See also Edit assistance for Code, Sheet, and Slide.

Frequently asked questions
- How do Tools and Workbench differ?
- Tools are reusable prompts that return text in the main Chat. My tools holds your saved custom prompts. Workbench turns tasks and materials into results you can review and continue working on.
- Can guests use Workbench?
- Guests can open and inspect every Workbench tool as a preview. Running, saving, attaching, or sending with a tool open requires sign-in. After sign-in you start on Free with Auto Low. Ordinary Guest Chat with no Workbench tool open still uses the Guest Auto Low trial.
- What is edit assistance?
- When Slide, Code, or Sheet is open, chat can read the panel and propose edits. Changes stay pending until you Accept, unless Auto-apply is on.
- Who can use Assistant?
- Signed-in accounts can use Assistant when it is available for the deployment.
